A is for Attitude

Designer Christian Grande wanted to emphasize horizontal lines: the belt draws a very taut line that is not interrupted by any vertical element or mark. The accent marked by the belt is taken up by the lines of the glass body that characterizes the hull. An essential cut, precise but not aggressive.

The entire perimeter of the yacht can be traversed at a safe pace on the walkable gunwales, never encountering obstacles. It is thus extremely comfortable to move from amidships – where the helm console, bar and table are located – towards the bow and aft where additional seating and comfortable spaces meet: thus three centers of gravity are created, well spaced from each other and at the same time perfectly connected to offer the owner a safe place dedicated to pleasure, relaxation and conviviality.

Authentic vital and emotional center of the yacht is the elegant kitchenette, equipped with stove, sink, refrigerator and ice machine to make the most of relaxing and entertaining occasions, aperitif moments or meals. Aft of the bar is a table that offers spacious seating on both sides: a settee toward the bar and, on the opposite side, the large aft sundeck that serves as a second sofa thanks to its adjustable backrest.

Forward of the bar is a trio of elegantly sporty styled forward-facing seats. The pilot is allocated the center seat, in front of which is the large helm console equipped with the best that electronics can provide to date, for maneuvering the boat and managing all the home automation and entertainment systems.

The helm station is sheltered by a wraparound windshield and an extraordinary T Top that is one of the authentic wow factors of the A46 Luxury Tender. Iconic for the beauty of its lines and the striking color effect given by the carbon fiber, the full-width hard top deeply characterizes the aesthetics and character of this yacht. The cover is definitely hi-tech, very light and durable, with integrated lighting and hi-fi system, but the feelings it can arouse are absolutely romantic. This is mainly due to the blade system that allows the hard top to be opened in seconds, creating cuts of light and shadow that give unique suggestions, perfectly in tune with the refined style of the A46. The shade offered by the hard top can also be extended to the rest of the cockpit thanks to convenient appendages.

A second sundeck is then located in the bow, which, thanks to a configuration reminiscent of the classic Portuguese deck, proves perfect as additional seating.

The aft area, on the other hand, is dominated by the large sundeck, which, as mentioned, can serve a dual function thanks to an adjustable and removable backrest that allows for isolation of the settee facing the midship table.

To discover the most striking of the A46 Luxury Tender’s features, however, one must look to the sides of this sundeck. The upper edges of the bulwarks are wide and offer themselves as comfortable additional seating, ideal for informal conviviality. The bulwarks themselves can be opened by a servo-electric mechanism to greatly expand the cockpit area (over 5 meters) with two terraces jutting out over the water, in complete continuity with the cockpit flooring. Here is yet another wow factor: space is expanded and access points to the water are multiplied, with two platforms on either side adding to the aft swim platform, which in turn can be moved in up/down and transverse directions.

Under the aft sundeck opens a garage that can accommodate a pneumatic tender up to two meters in length, for whose launching and return operations the sinking platform itself proves very useful.

As is clear, this yacht invites outdoor living, but that is not why the Shipyard has neglected below-deck spaces with elegant convertible solutions that are extremely functional. In fact, the dinette can be converted into a sleeping area that complements the comfortable full-beam aft cabin. The bathroom is complete with a separate shower stall.

There are numerous solutions, both below deck and in the cockpit, that facilitate connection to electronic devices: watertight USB sockets, universal wireless chargers for smartphones, and audio and entertainment systems that can be operated from any position.

The new A46 Luxury Tender is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS D6 engines each rated at 480 HP (2×353 kW) – providing optimal navigation and low fuel consumption.

Hull colors and decor can be customized with the Cranchi Atelier program to make the style of this yacht inspired by the savoir-vivre and pleasantness of Mediterranean culture even more unique.
